Hours Of Researching Software ProgramsWhat I found was happening to me was that I was missing out on doing certain tasks that I should have done whether it was during putting the listing together (getting the lockbox on and recording the serial number, putting the ads together and geting them in on time, etc.) or during the pending period and making sure that all contingencies were met within the time frame, the commitment letter was received on time, etc. or after the close (ensuring that everything was wrapped up properly and file closed the correct way).All these tasks and much more are very difficult to stay on top of, especially when things are going really well and you are selling a lot of homes and working with a lot of buyers.
So with all this chaos going on, I have to admit that it was my wife who sat me down and insisted that I get more organized. I was running around like a headless chicken and more importantly the stress was taking its toll! Having automated a lot of offices in my previous jobs, I new there had to be software programs out there that took care of a lot of the tasks that we Realtors take on. And when you examine the amount of tasks involved in our jobs, WOW. There are a heck of a lot of duties that we must perform - almost on a daily basis.
